AnyPS5 Download: Release Files and SHA-256 Checks

Choose the original release files, check their hashes, and know what you have before starting setup.

Independent guide · Source-reviewed · Game execution not independently tested

For AnyPS5 v0.1.1, download a relinker and a matching PRX system-library archive for Windows or Linux from the original GitHub repository. The relinker alone is not a complete runtime, and GitHub’s source-code ZIP is a different download.

Release and verification scope

v0.1.1 is the latest published release observed on October 11, 2026. GitHub records its publication on September 28, 2026 (UTC). File names, sizes and digests below come from the upstream release metadata. We have not independently tested these binaries or game execution.

Choose the matching Windows or Linux files

Start at the original v0.1.1 release and check the repository owner and tag. Both links in each row go directly to its GitHub-hosted assets. Keep the relinker and libraries on the same version and target OS.

v0.1.1: download both files in your target OS row
Target OSRelinkerSystem-library archive
Windowsrelinker-v0.1.1.exe
4,190,264 bytes
prx-windows-v0.1.1.zip
10,092,350 bytes
Linuxrelinker-v0.1.1
3,460,088 bytes
prx-linux-v0.1.1.tar.gz
6,838,060 bytes

The release also offers Linux PRX libraries as ZIP and Windows PRX libraries as tar.gz. Those archive formats do not change the target OS. The hashes and commands below use the four recommended files in the table; another archive has a different digest.

Before downloading, check the hardware and skill requirements and title-specific compatibility evidence. A release download does not mean that every game runs.

Know what each download supplies

  • Relinker: the conversion tool. On Windows its filename ends in .exe; the Linux binary has no extension.
  • PRX archive: AnyPS5 system libraries for the selected target OS. The archive contains a libs/ directory. Preserve the included Windows runtime DLLs.
  • Source code (ZIP or tar.gz): a source snapshot for development. It does not replace the named relinker and PRX assets. Follow the build instructions for your exact revision if you intend to compile it.
  • Game input and resources: separate from all of these downloads. The project release does not supply the title executable, bundled title modules or resources needed by your workflow.

Extract the PRX archive into your workspace, where its existing libs/ folder will sit beside the converted output. Extracting into another libs/ folder can create the wrong libs/libs/ path. The runtime layout shows where title modules and resources belong.

Choose a release or a development revision deliberately

Use v0.1.1 for the fixed workflow in our Windows and Linux setup guide. Its commands were reviewed against release commit fe1935ef682d0b6fb94c0a3554a531b695302a8c.

Choose a development checkout when you need a specific upstream change and can build and diagnose that revision. The separately reviewed snapshot is 05c870cc055cc5bbb53ef49c67ca72f4e8b63b0b. Its module-directory handling, available flags and runtime behavior can differ from v0.1.1. Read the release-versus-development comparison, then use the pinned usage and build guide together.

Keep each revision in a separate workspace, record the commit, and build matching components. A newer source revision is not a guaranteed fix for a title or a substitute for checking its reported status.

Verify the downloaded files with SHA-256

Verify the original downloaded files before extracting or running them. These values are copied from the digest fields in the GitHub release API response. Compare the digest for the exact filename and archive format you chose.

Windows: compute both hashes in PowerShell

Open PowerShell in the folder containing the two Windows downloads, then run:

Windows PowerShell · SHA-256
Get-FileHash -LiteralPath ".\relinker-v0.1.1.exe", ".\prx-windows-v0.1.1.zip" -Algorithm SHA256 | Format-List Path, Hash

Linux: compute both hashes in the shell

Open a terminal in the folder containing the Linux pair. With GNU Coreutils available, run:

Linux shell · SHA-256
sha256sum "./relinker-v0.1.1" "./prx-linux-v0.1.1.tar.gz"

Compare all 64 hexadecimal characters for each file with its row above; uppercase and lowercase letters represent the same value. A missing-file error means you should check the working folder and filename. A mismatch means you should stop, confirm the asset and tag, and download it again from the original release.

What a match proves

A matching hash confirms that the downloaded bytes match the published digest. It is not a safety certification, a signature verification, or evidence that a game will work. This page records upstream digests; it does not claim an independent malware assessment.

Understand the platform limits

The inspected v0.1.1 asset list provides Windows and Linux relinkers and libraries. It provides no macOS, Android or iOS binary pair. An archive’s compression format does not make its libraries portable to another OS.

The development usage describes --macos and --to-rosetta, while the build guide separately describes a relinker-only build, including Apple Silicon. Building the conversion tool alone does not produce a complete game runtime. These development details do not add macOS support to the release files above.

Review the platform and hardware requirements for the distinction between a build host, an output format and a runtime host. Keep the compatibility record tied to its title, platform and version.

Continue from download to setup

  1. Record your release, exact asset names and hash results.
  2. Prepare the clean ELF input, bundled modules and resources in a separate workspace.
  3. Follow the v0.1.1 input preparation and the conversion section for your OS.
  4. If a step fails, keep the first complete error and use the troubleshooting guide.

For a conceptual overview of what conversion does, read AnyPS5 and PS5 emulation. That distinction helps explain why a downloaded tool and a successful conversion do not establish playability.

Common download questions

Is this the official AnyPS5 download website?

No. AnyPS5.pro is an independent guide. The links above lead to the original boykopovar/AnyPS5 release on GitHub; this site does not host or modify the project binaries.

Do I need both the relinker and a PRX archive?

Yes for the workflow described here. The relinker performs conversion; the archive supplies AnyPS5 system libraries for the target OS. You also need your separate input executable, bundled title modules and resources.

Can I use GitHub’s Source code ZIP instead?

A source archive is for development and building. It is not the prebuilt relinker or the matching PRX runtime archive. Use the named release assets when following the v0.1.1 setup guide.

Does a matching SHA-256 hash mean the download is safe?

No. It confirms that your downloaded bytes match the published digest. It does not certify safety, correctness or game compatibility. Keep the original download source and file version in your records.

Where is the macOS download?

The inspected v0.1.1 assets offer Windows and Linux binaries, with no macOS binary pair. The separate development usage describes macOS conversion options; those are not options to copy into the v0.1.1 workflow.
