ANYPS5 GUIDE / SITE INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

How this website handles information from visits and messages, and the choices available to you.

Who this policy covers

This policy explains information handling on AnyPS5.pro, an independent guide to the AnyPS5 project. It applies to this website and messages sent to support@anyps5.pro. It does not cover the original AnyPS5 project, GitHub, or other websites linked from our guides.

You can read our guides without creating an account. This site has no registration, public comments, checkout, payment collection, or on-site contact form. We currently display no advertisements. Technical providers and analytics still process information when you visit.

Hosting, delivery, and security

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website, and Cloudflare delivers its pages and assets. Cloudflare processes connection and request information to provide its services, including IP addresses, traffic routing information, and system configuration information. This supports page delivery, service reliability, and protection against abusive traffic.

The public site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for visit and page-performance measurements. Cloudflare describes this analytics product as cookie-free; this description does not apply to our separate Google Analytics installation or to all Cloudflare security services. See Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for its practices.

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages visitors read, where visits come from, and how people use the guides. This helps us prioritize useful content and find navigation problems. The production website loads Google’s analytics tag automatically when JavaScript runs. It currently has no on-site analytics consent banner or preference control.

Analytics can process page addresses and titles, referring pages, browser and device information, approximate location, and identifiers that distinguish users and sessions. Our configured enhanced measurement includes page views, scroll activity, and outbound-link clicks.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_*, for user and session measurement. Cookie lifetimes depend on Google tag settings and browser restrictions. Google explains these identifiers in its cookie documentation. See also how Google uses information from sites using its services.

Your browser choices

  • Use your browser settings to inspect, block, or delete cookies for this site. Deleting cookies does not delete information already sent to a provider.
  • Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Follow Google’s installation instructions; it affects Google Analytics, not every service a website uses.
  • You can use browser controls or extensions to block analytics scripts. Our core articles and links remain available without JavaScript.

Blocking cookies alone may not stop all analytics requests: Google states that its analytics libraries can transmit data without setting cookies. Browser choices apply to that browser and device and may need to be repeated elsewhere.

Information you send by email

If you email us, your message can include your email address, name, message text, attachments, and email delivery information. We use the information you provide to understand and respond to the request, investigate corrections, and maintain related correspondence.

Please send only what is needed. Remove passwords, private keys, account details, and personal information from logs or screenshots. Clicking an email link opens your email application; it does not submit a message through this website. Email providers also process messages under their own terms and privacy practices.

Providers, retention, and processing locations

Google and Cloudflare process information to supply the services described above. Their policies and service settings govern their processing, alongside applicable agreements. Their global infrastructure may process information outside your country.

There is no single retention period for every category. Analytics event data follows the Google Analytics property’s retention settings; these settings do not apply to standard aggregated reports. See Google’s retention explanation. Hosting and security records follow the applicable Cloudflare service rules. Email correspondence depends on the request and the mailbox service. Contact us for questions about a particular record; cookie expiry is not a promise that all associated records have been deleted.

Privacy questions and requests

Send privacy questions or requests concerning information associated with you to support@anyps5.pro. Describe the information and request, such as access, correction, or deletion. Applicable rights depend on your location and circumstances, and locating analytics data may require more than an email address. Do not send identity documents with your initial request.
